When it comes to our production process, we've made a big decision to stay small.
Made Green uses efficient tools to produce high quality videos, and maintain's a philosophy of 'smart growth' as gear is added. Now, what does that mean?
• We choose production equipment and office supplies that are energy efficient and easily recyclable.
• Our mobile production studio is compact, well-equipped, and designed to fit inside our carbon nuetral, fuel efficient vehicles. • We use efficient compact flourescents for our studio and office lighting.
• We 'eco-tweaked' our home offices, and had a third party certifier audit the entire process.
• Web-based project ordering and revisions process eliminates unnecessary trips, and keeps our cars in the driveway.
On the horizon are some new strategies to increase our efficiency, such as hard drive video capture (to eliminate tape waste) and using renewable energy to power our production and editing equipment! |
